Short Sleeves Insights - Is Beauty Really Only Skin Deep?
We are living in a world where as we grow up we play less. We spend less time on ourselves and even pursue our hobbies with less determination. The same goes for our clothes. Some of us even start wearing less. These days’ girls can be seen wearing cut sleeves al through the summer and even in the winters. Earlier they used to wear full sleeves, the there were three fourths and then there were half sleeves. Along with a new generation came mega sleeves and then came cut sleeve. Wonder to which level the sleeves will reduce next, no need to guess because the already have. Sleeves have already reduced to mere straps, which are hardly visible to the naked eye. In some causes even those are gone and god knows how those dresses cling on to the bodies of those frail structures.
The trends are changing and so are the clothes. They are changing in a way that is just proving the point that the beauty is just skinning deep. Girls are flaunting skin and boys are drooling over it. The whole concept of inner beauty has been restricted to plunging neckline. The more inner body a woman shows the more beautiful she is perceived form the inside.
Though we can very well understand the point that it is scorching hot in summers but then according to that logic the poor and the down trodden shouldn’t have a single piece of clothing on them but it is not the case because they are not flaunting their skin. It is the upper class and the new generation that is flaunting skin though most of them live in temperature controlled homes where the temperature remains the same be it summers or winters. Be it short sleeves or short clothes in all, they portray a misleading picture which leads to immoral conduct from the opposite sex. Men view such dressing as vulgar and pass remarks and then women feel offended though they are inviting the trouble themselves. So in order to improve the social condition of the society the women need to improve there dressing sense and dress appropriately when going out to public places.
