Beauty and Society

The concept of beauty in diversity is almost forgotten as it is used as a tool of comparison in the society. There are certain standards of beauty like fair skin, slim figure, long hair and many others. Hence people who do not meet the standard requirements feel disillusioned, dissatisfied and are haunted by inferiority complex. But God has made everyone beautiful with variety of special features.

This quest for beauty in oneself according to certain ideals causes eating problems in the youth. The quest of outer beauty in others is the cause of much of the jealousy, comparison and causes barrier to communication among many souls too. In this quest for outer beauty the most beautiful aspect of inner purity is forgotten.
Beauty and Society
On the basis of standardized ideals of beauty the society is almost divided as the so called attractive people get more attention from teachers, colleagues, or even strangers. In the modern world the concept of beauty is propounded by the beauty and cosmetics company and beauty is synonymous with fashionable. Hence an in cult life style is a must to be beautiful for the youth. Hence wearing the hip clothes, having the latest hair cut, even eating food labeled as trendy is what beauty has become today. But beauty since eternity has no barriers and should not be contained within narrow confines of labels and comparisons.
